Author's Guideline

Author’s  Guideline

 The authors names, addresses, phone number(s), present position/title and affiliations  will be provided by the principal author. Only those manuscripts will be considered for publication which would be previously unpublished anywhere and would  not be  under process of publishing elsewhere.

Format Requirement

    1. Submissions will be  include abstract of up-to 200-250 words. The abstract must be consisted of brief outline the aims and objectives of the research, research methodology and the  conclusions. 6-10 Key words must be included at the end of the abstract.

    3. Introduction of the title
    4. The Conclusion clearly mentioning  the main themes and points of the article and  summing  up the findings  of the article.
    5. Writing style will be the Times New Roman in 12 point with double spacing of maximum 6000-7500 words including end notes.
    6. The Chicago Citation Style will be followed for citations and referencing. 
    7. While giving footnotes please keep in mind the following requirements 
      • Within the paper text: put the note number at the end of the sentence and after all punctuations where the reference occurs, even if the cited material is mentioned at the beginning of the sentence.
      • Be sure to use Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) do not use  Roman (i, ii, iii).
      • Never reuse a number – use a new number for each reference, even if you have used that reference previously.
      • To cite multiple sources in a single note, separate the two citations with a semicolon (;).
      • Be sure to use proper formatting – note and bibliography styles and different. Please check the following example:
    8. All citations must be confirmed. That is, the correct page number of the cited source and details of publication should be given. If they are not, they will be removed wholly from the text by the editors.
    9. A prose or quotation of five or more lines or more than 100 words should be “blocked.” The block quotation is single-spaced and takes no quotation marks, but an extra line space must be left immediately before and after the quote. Indent the entire quotation 0.5.” However, quotes less than 100 words would be incorporated within text with inverted commas.
    10. Terms of other languages should be in Italics and explained.
    11. Academic jargon that is specific to a particular discipline needs to be thoroughly elaborated upon or footnoted.
    12. Authors should attach a plagiarism report with manuscript authorized by Library sources.
    13. Articles that are unoriginal and heavily plagiarized shall not be entertained.
    14. Articles not following Reference Guidelines i.e., Chicago Manual of Style for footnotes/Endnotes and Bibliography shall not be entertained.

 Originality and Plagiarism

  1. It is the author(s)’ responsibility to ascertain that s/he has submitted an entirely original work, giving due credit, by virtue of proper citations, to the works and/or words of others where they have been used. 
      1. Plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is not acceptable. Material quoted verbatim from the author (s)’ previously published work or other sources must be placed in quotation marks.
      2. As per HEC’s policy, in case the manuscript has a similarity index of more than 19%, it will either be rejected or left at the discretion of the Editorial Board for the purposes of a conditional acceptance.  

Declaration:

Authors are required to provide an undertaking/declaration stating that the manuscript under consideration contains solely their original work that is not under consideration for publishing in any other journal in any form. A manuscript that is co-authored must be accompanied by an undertaking explicitly stating that each author has contributed substantially towards the preparation of the manuscript in order to claim right to authorship. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author that s/he has ensured that all those who have substantially contributed in the manuscripts have been included in the author list and they have agreed to the order of authorship.
